Week 1:
I learned about the benefits of user-centered design, such as improving user satisfaction, reducing development costs, increasing product usage, and enhancing brand value.
This design approach focuses on understanding the target users and their needs. It involves iterative research, brainstorming, prototyping, and testing processes to ensure that the final product is user-friendly and effective.
The best way to improve mobile user experience is by helping users achieve their goals.
The goal of this stage was to understand the basics of "user testing" and apply it in practice.
Week 2:
The concept of "user experience (UX)" was introduced.
The difference between user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) was explored.
"User experience is about how users feel and interact with the product, not what we think they do."
It is important to focus on user needs and find ways to make their experience easier. I need to explore what users need and try to understand their experience from their perspective.
The purpose of design proposals is to improve existing applications by enhancing both user experience and interface. This process involves background research, competitor analysis, strategic planning, user research, and gathering references.
Week 3:
A detailed review of research methods and examples was conducted, and existing issues were addressed.
Conclusion:
I first studied three software platforms and then chose one for in-depth research. I chose the Chinese video platform Bilibili. My goal is to improve its user experience by fixing issues that make it less user-friendly, making it easier and more convenient for people to use.
